Nine Objects

I’ve been loving Suzanne Vega’s music since her very first album back in 1985. A friend played it for us at a house party, and it landed very well with us all. Thanks Jan!

This is the album cover for her 1996 release. It opens with the powerful “Birthday” about giving birth to her daughter Ruby, and contains a lot of great tracks. It is one of my favourite albums of hers.

Vector drawing of Suzanne Vega's cover to the album "Nine Objects of Desire" from 1996. It's a close-up shot of her holding a green apple in front of her right eye. She's got short, red hair and is photographed in front of a green backdrop. The contrasts are dramatic.

I can’t believe it’s been 19 years already!
