As control towers go, I really enjoy the one at Arlanda Airport outside of Stockholm.
It has been in operation since December 23. 2001 and stands 83m tall.
One thing that isn’t at all obvious is that inside the lines on the base, there are texts by Antoine de Saint-Exupérys which can be read when close enough. I didn’t bother with adding them to the drawing, as they would be illegible at any practical size.
